THE GOLDEN TREASURES STORY
Hello! We are Greg and Carole DeBruler. We have been breeding golden retrievers for over fifteen years. We started when our children were small and our house was full, and we only had the two family dogs, one AKC red golden named Max and one AKC American golden named Libby. Now, our nest is almost empty, but our family has grown with Gigi (Greg's mom) coming to live with us and beloved daughters and sons in-law being added throughout the past years. And now our family continues to grow with grandchildren still coming! We feel we are truly blessed. We still have our family pets, but now they are champion-line English creme golden retrievers.
Even though our children are grown and married, breeding these beautiful dogs is still very much a family endeavor. Several of our children have our pups or are involved in different ways to support our mission of providing homes with quality, healthy, and ethically-raised goldens.
We are based near Pensacola, Florida, where we all, dogs included, enjoy the weather and the beach atmosphere. We are very fortunate to get to live where so many people go to vacation!
IT TAKES A TEAM!
Raising dogs and having puppies the right way takes a team! We are thankful to be surrounded with a great support group who love dogs and are committed to the health and well being of each of our adults and pups. In addition to our family, the Golden Treasures Team includes close friends who have partnered with us to insure that each of our mother dogs and pups are raised in a loving home. So while the word "kennel" may be in our name, there really is no kennel since our dogs are part of the family and live in the home. When each mother dog is retired, she stays right in the home where she has always lived.
